National maps and offline use

Premium adds your country’s official map as a base layer — Kartverket in Norway, Lantmäteriet in Sweden, SDFI in Denmark, Maanmittauslaitos in Finland, USGS in the United States, and more across Europe and Canada. Far more detail than a general world map, and it carries on across borders.

  1. Open any map and tap the layers button.
  2. Pick National. The row names the map it will use and previews your own area.
  3. Switch Property boundaries on as well to draw cadastral lines over any base map, where your country publishes them.

Taking the map where there is no signal

A downloaded area works with the phone in flight mode. Download a hunting ground with its boundary plus a margin, or just whatever is on screen.

  1. From a hunting ground: Download this ground for offline use, then pick a margin and a quality.
  2. From the map: layers → Download this area for offline use.
  3. Manage, update and delete what you have stored under Settings → Maps, which also shows how much space it uses.
